Arab Weather - The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is preparing to officially announce its hosting of the 2034 World Cup, as the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) is expected to announce the countries hosting the 2030 and 2034 tournaments this evening, Wednesday.
Standard hosting file rating
Saudi Arabia presented a distinguished file that made it top the FIFA ratings, as the Arab file received 419.8 points out of 500, which is the highest rating in the history of organizing the World Cup.
Host cities and stadiums in Saudi Arabia
If the Kingdom wins the bid to host the tournament, the 2034 World Cup matches will be held in five main cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar, Abha, and Neom. The matches will be distributed across 15 stadiums, more than half of which are located in Riyadh.
Riyadh:
- King Salman Stadium (82,000 spectators) will host the opening ceremony and the final match.
- King Fahd Sports City Stadium (80,000 spectators).
- Roshen and Al-Murabba stadiums, each with a capacity of 45,000 spectators, in addition to other stadiums.

Hamad Al-Balawi, head of the Saudi bid, confirmed that the bid reflects the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and aspires to present an exceptional version of the World Cup. Al-Balawi said:
“Hosting the 2034 World Cup is a dream for every Saudi, and we are fully prepared to achieve it.”
Fan Zones
Five areas have been designated to receive fans during the tournament:
- King Salman Park (Riyadh).
- Jeddah waterfront.
- Sea Square (Abha).
- Marina (Neom).
- King Abdullah Park (Al Khobar).
