A decision to open the `Al-Mald` dam in Al-Baha on Wednesday, and the Civil Defense warns

Arabiaweather.com – The Al-Baha Region Council, in its 84th session, issued a decision to open the Al-Mald Dam in the region, tomorrow, Wednesday; To clean it and remove sediment from its interior, under the supervision of the Municipality of the region and the contractor for the maintenance and operation of dams.

This move coincides with the warning of the Civil Defense in the region, to everyone against crossing the valleys or swimming in the swamps resulting from the opening of the dam’s waters.

The official spokesman for the Directorate of Civil Defense in the Al-Baha region, Colonel Jamaan bin Dais Al-Ghamdi, told "Sabq" newspaper: "It was decided to open the Al-Mild dam in Al-Baha city, tomorrow, Wednesday, Muharram 1st 1437 at 10 am, to clean it in cooperation with the maintenance and operation contractor for the dams in the region."

Colonel "Al-Ghamdi" demanded; All citizens and residents, to exercise caution and follow safety instructions and not to cross valleys or swim in swamps.
