A government decision to install daylight saving time in Jordan throughout the year
Weather of Arabia - The Council of Ministers, in its session held today, Wednesday, headed by the Acting Prime Minister, Tawfiq Krishan, decided to install summer time throughout the year.
The decision comes after an extensive study conducted by the government to determine the feasibility of fixing work in summer time, which showed that continuing work at this time allows benefiting from the longest possible time of daylight hours.
The decision will limit working hours during the evening and night hours, especially for evening shift students, university students, and employees in the public and private sectors whose nature of work requires them to work until evening hours.

It is noteworthy that about (60%) of the countries of the world do not change their timing during the year, while (40%) of the countries adopt the system of changing the timing during specific times at the beginning of summer and winter, noting that some of these countries tend to fix the timing in them.
The work of the one-time system allows the stability of the country's time in relation to the Universal Time (Greenwich Mean Time), which results in the stability of communication dates around the world.
