A very cold night is coming to the Kingdom, with temperatures approaching zero degrees Celsius in Amman and several areas.
Arab Weather - The latest computer modeling outputs for monitoring and tracking the movement of air masses indicate that the night cold will reach its peak during the hours of Saturday/Sunday night as a result of the Kingdom being affected by very cold winds, but without any weather activity, as night temperatures will drop to be close to zero degrees Celsius in several parts of the Kingdom during the late night hours, and in the Shara Mountains, the Badia regions, and parts of the eastern plains, temperatures may drop below zero degrees Celsius.
With the decrease in cloud cover and the decrease in wind speed, the weather conditions are suitable for the formation of frost in many large areas of the Kingdom, including the main cities, while the formation of frost in places where water pools are located is not excluded.
Frost begins early at night and continues into Sunday morning.
God willing, frost is expected to start early in the night hours, i.e. Saturday/Sunday night, and will intensify and expand with time and continue until the late hours of Sunday morning, especially in the desert above the high mountainous heights and the eastern plains areas. Fog is also likely to form late at night in the Zizia area, Queen Alia International Airport and some areas of the desert.
Below are the minimum temperatures expected tonight in some regions and governorates of the Kingdom:
West Amman: °0
East Amman: °2
South Amman: °1
