An X platform user posted a screenshot of an alert from CrowdStrike stating that the company was aware of “reports of crashes on Windows servers related to its Falcon Sensor platform.”

What are blue screens of death?
Blue Screen Output (BSOD), also known as "Blue Screen Error", "Stop Error" or "Blue Screen of Death", is an annoying problem faced by Microsoft Windows users. This screen appears when the system encounters a major error that cannot be undone or recovered.
This problem is usually caused by a malfunction in hardware, low-level software, or drivers. When this malfunction occurs, a blue screen appears indicating that the device has encountered a problem and needs to be restarted.
A message or hint may appear on the blue screen stating that the device is experiencing a problem and needs to restart, such as: “Your computer has encountered a problem and needs to restart. We are collecting some problem information, then we will restart for you.” Also, some generic stop codes or hexadecimal codes may appear, which are often incomprehensible to most users.
Newer versions of Microsoft Windows, such as Windows 10, are more stable and the blue screen may not appear as often. If the blue screen appears once, it is not a big problem, but if it recurs, you should look for the reasons to fix it.
The blue screen problem occurs when Windows encounters a system stop error, which causes it to crash and stop working, and this may cause some data to be lost. Windows automatically creates a file known as a minidump when the blue screen appears, which contains information about the crash that occurred and can be viewed to help determine the cause of the problem.
Chaos around the world due to a technical malfunction
At Australia's Sydney Airport, flights were halted, sparking chaos and uncertainty among travelers, United Airlines also stopped flying, and Berlin Airport announced on the X platform "check-in delays due to a technical error."
In Spain, a "malfunction" was reported at all of the country's airports. In the United Kingdom, Edinburgh Airport experienced a disruption in services, as a bug caused departure screens to malfunction, displaying outdated information about gate numbers and take-off times, causing some passengers to miss out. For their flights, European airline Ryanair said it was facing “potential network outages” due to “third-party outages,” and advised travelers to check the company’s app for updates on their flights. Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport reported a delay caused by an "IT outage", with an airport spokesperson confirming that "the service outage is having an impact on flights", adding that the number of flights affected had not yet been determined.
Impact of holidays in Australia
In Australia, outages reported on the site included several banks, airlines Qantas and Virgin Australia, as well as internet and phone providers such as Telstra. News media in Australia, including the ABC and Sky News, were also unable to broadcast on their television channels. Radio, reported a sudden shutdown of computers running Windows.
Michelle McGuinness, coordinator of the Australian National Cyber Security Office, said in a post on the X platform that there is no information to suggest that the outage is related to cyber security.
Cloud service provider AWS said in a statement that it was "investigating reports of connectivity issues with Windows EC2 Workspaces at AWS."
It is not yet clear whether all of the observed outages are related to Crowdstrike issues or whether there may be other issues.
