What is the planetary procession that will visit Earth on June 1?
Arabia Weather - Astronomy enthusiasts are preparing to follow a rare and unique event known as the “planetary procession,” in which six planets from the solar system line up in the night sky.
This occasion is considered unique, as the alignment of Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus coincide in a straight line, and experts point out that this event is rare and special.
In this context, the planets are expected to be clear and bright in the sky, with the exception of Uranus and Neptune, which may not be noticeably clear, so observing them may require the use of binoculars or a telescope.
Planetary alignment occurs as a result of all the planets rotating around the sun in their specific orbits, allowing them to fall on the same side of the sun as they move in their orbits, and thus we can see them in the sky at the same time. This alignment appears in the sky in the form of a straight line due to the presence of the planets in the ecliptic circle.

Where can a planetary procession be seen?
The alignment can be seen from most parts of the world on June 3rd . The timing and order of the appearance of the planets depends on the location from which the phenomenon is observed.
Many tools are available to help you determine the right time and alignment location in the sky, including websites like Stellarium and apps like Sky Tonight, available on iOS and Android.
