What are the early warning signs of infection with the Omicron mutant, even for those who have received the vaccine?
Weather of Arabia - The world has witnessed a significant increase in the rate of infection with the Corona virus since the emergence of the mutated omicron, which was first discovered in South Africa and Hong Kong in November 2021, and the mutated omicron quickly became dominant in most countries of the world, forcing some countries to re-impose some Precautionary measures, which included the obligation to wear a mask in public places, the return of remote work, and a travel ban.
Although the transmission rate of the omicron mutant from the Corona virus is higher than the previous mutant "delta", it caused fewer deaths and hospitalizations.
Although receiving the coronavirus vaccine protects against more severe symptoms of the virus, it is still possible to get Covid-19 even after receiving a booster dose. One of the early warning signs that you may have.
The most common symptoms when fully vaccinated
Researchers in Norway conducted a study with 111 out of 117 guests from a party on November 26, 2021 where there was an Omicron outbreak. Among the interviewed group, 66 had confirmed cases of Covid-19 and 15 probable cases of the virus.
Of the 111 participants, 89% received two doses of the mRNA vaccine and none received a booster dose.
These were cough, runny nose, fatigue, sore throat, headache, muscle aches, fever and sneezing.
The study found that coughing, runny nose and fatigue were among the most common symptoms in the vaccinated people, while sneezing and fever were less common.
Public health experts also add nausea to this list of symptoms in vaccinated people who have had the Omicron variant.
Although the vaccine protects against the more serious risks of the virus, it is still possible to catch Covid even if you have a booster shot.
The mild nature of symptoms makes it difficult for people to distinguish between the virus and the common cold.
But, according to Professor Tim Spector, behind the ZOE Symptom Study App, currently about 50 percent of "new colds" are, in fact, Covid.
Two of the early warning signs you might have are OMICRON
Experts also suggest that there are two distinct symptoms that could be a sign that a positive test is around the corner: fatigue and dizziness/fainting.
More than just feeling tired, fatigue can translate into physical pain by causing sore or weak muscles, headaches, and even blurry vision and loss of appetite.
Dr. Angelique Coetzee, a private practitioner and president of the South African Medical Association, told Good Morning Britain that fatigue was a major symptom of Omicron when the variant erupted in South Africa.
In fact, 40 percent of women reported experiencing Covid fatigue compared to a third of men, according to a survey by WebMD that asked users how often they felt tired from December 23 to January 4.

Dizziness/fainting is the second sign that you may have Omicron. A new report from Germany has suggested a link between fainting spells and Omicron after doctors in Berlin discovered that Covid was causing recurrent fainting spells in a 35-year-old hospitalized patient.
German newspaper Ärztezeitung said doctors could see a "clear link" between the infection and fainting spells.
Scientists warn of early termination of Covid rules in England
Meanwhile, Boris Johnson continues to press ahead with plans to end all domestic Covid-19 restrictions in England one month in advance - a move scientists have described as "very brave or very stupid".
The prime minister said on Wednesday that "provided that the current encouraging trends in the data continue, I expect we will be able to end recent domestic restrictions - including the legal requirement to self-isolate if a positive test result - a month early".
The UK has undoubtedly seen a significant drop in new infections since early January, when the transmissible Omicron variant drove the number of infections to more than 200,000 per day.
The number of current cases is now about a third of that with a seven-day average of 69,296 as of Sunday — the lowest level since mid-December.
