This small archipelago nestled in the Mediterranean Sea offers a comprehensive array of natural, architectural and historical wonders. With a comfortable warm climate, it is one of the most sought after holiday destinations, and all of the Maltese islands offer excellent opportunities to explore and admire places untouched by human hands.
* Lush green plants and flowers of different colors make the scene look like an artist's painting.
* Sights of dramatic cliffs plunging directly into the Mediterranean Sea.
* Hidden Valleys are mysterious sites that take you back to ancient history, isolated medieval chapels and palaces hidden among mountains and greenery.
History is everywhere
History surrounds the island of Malta everywhere, as it has been part of most historical events since prehistoric times, and there are a group of monuments underground and above it, allowing tourists to take a glimpse of this world, and in fact Malta is home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites:
* Hypogeum Hal Saflini, located in Paola, was built as a sanctuary but was later converted into a cemetery during the prehistoric period, and today it is the only underground temple belonging to that era.
* Valletta, which is the old capital city that contains buildings dating back to the sixteenth century.
The Seven Megalithic Temples, which are among the oldest monuments, were built between 3600 and 700 BC.
Beaches and marine activities
A visit to the island would not be complete without enjoying the surf and sandy beaches through the various beach activities that you find on many of Malta's charming beaches , such as:
* Swimming, sunbathing and lying on the beaches of Malta and Gozo.
* Enjoy water sports such as windsurfing, water skiing, kayaking, skydiving and others.
