Microsoft launches the first Lumia phone without the name `Nokia`
ArabiaWeather.com- Lumia smartphones have been associated with the name and trademark of Nokia, but this connection has ended irrevocably after Microsoft released the first Lumia device that does not bear the Nokia name on November 10.
This step comes less than a year after the acquisition deal, after Microsoft bought Nokia's smartphone division last April for $7.2 billion.
The new device runs on the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system, and is equipped with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 200, and a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 960-540 pixels. Like its predecessors, Lumia 535 comes with a plastic cover and elegant lines around the rounded corners of the outer frame.
