What is Down syndrome?
Some children are born with 47 chromosomes instead of 46 chromosomes, and this occurs as a result of a genetic disorder due to a defect in the division of chromosome 21, and therefore a person with Down syndrome has an extra copy of chromosome 21 and the effects of this syndrome differ from person to person with similar symptoms.
Down syndrome symptoms:
