The weather during this period is considered the best weather in Namibia, as the country is at its best with moderate temperatures and little rainfall, and because humidity levels are high, the time is more suitable for visiting the drier desert regions. As the month of May comes to an end, the animals are once again looking for steady water sources, which is why watching the bush becomes really cool.

Namibia safari from June to August

It's the dry season and also the peak tourist season, Namibia's reserves and national parks get more crowded with travelers coming to see the game and wildlife at its best. And while the nights can be cold, even freezing in some desert areas, the sun is brighter during the day.

Don't worry about too many travelers coming to Namibia, the country is so vast, that's why overcrowding is rare except for tourist hotspots like Etosha National Park and the dunes of Sosusvli.

September and October .. until November

During this period, Namibia becomes warmer and the nights are quieter, temperatures rise during the day, and animals can be seen all day near the places available on the water, so it is better to visit the desert areas in the morning or evening, and avoid the heat of the afternoon.

The heat intensifies more with the advent of November, but sometimes the first rains of the new season may fall, heralding a semi-normal life in the areas surrounding the desert. Some migratory birds even return to await the rains.
