Monitoring the possibility of a tropical depression forming in the southeast of the Arabian Sea next week
Arab Weather - Some weather maps resulting from what is called computer simulation at the Arab Weather Center indicate the possibility of a tropical cyclone forming southeast of the Arabian Sea at the end of next week, despite the middle of August, during which the Arabian Sea rarely witnesses any tropical development for many reasons that prevent this.
Probability models indicate that an eastern wave is likely to sweep southeast of the Arabian Sea next week, which may result in the formation of a low pressure area, and it is not unlikely that it will later develop into a tropical depression.
Experts at the Arab Weather Center indicated that if a tropical depression forms south of the Arabian Sea at the end of next week, there are two possibilities for its path:
- First: It will continue moving north towards northwest India and bring heavy rains to those areas.
- Second: It moves to the west, and in this case it will not be able to complete its path towards the Arabian Peninsula due to the presence of significant activity of shear winds that prevent the continuation of the tropical system.
And God knows best.
