Egypt | Disruption of studies in Al-Azhar institutes in North Sinai due to bad weather on Saturday

Weather of Arabia - The Al-Azhar region in North Sinai announced today, Friday, the suspension of studies in the Al-Azhar institutes in the governorate, tomorrow, Saturday, due to the bad weather and the wave of bad weather that is hitting the country.

Sheikh Mohsen Abu al-Qasim, head of the central administration of the North Sinai Al-Azhar region, said in a statement: “The study in the Azhar institutes in North Sinai will be disrupted on Saturday, 20/11/2021, and the leave will be for all students and teachers in the institutes only, based on the instructions of the governor and due to bad weather.”

According to Al-Shorouk newspaper, North Sinai governorate, among several governorates, is experiencing bad weather, and the governorate's cities are exposed to heavy and intermittent rains throughout the day and a drop in temperature, which affects various aspects of life in the governorate.

It is noteworthy that the Directorate of Education in North Sinai had previously announced that, based on the decisions of the Prime Minister and the directives of the Governor of North Sinai, and in view of the climatic conditions that the country is going through, it was decided to initially close schools tomorrow, Saturday, due to the weather conditions while taking all precautions

As for tomorrow, Saturday, Dr. Iman Shaker, Undersecretary of the Remote Sensing Center at the Meteorological Authority, expected that the country will witness a state of instability, especially in the northern governorates, where heavy rains, thunder and lightning will fall, and in Lower Egypt governorates, heavy rains, and Greater Cairo will witness rains. Mild, accompanied by a decrease in temperature from 3 to 4 degrees

And “Shaker” added, during a telephone interview with the media, Ahmed Fayek, on the “Egypt Can” program broadcast on the dmc channel, today, Friday, that there is wind activity associated with thunderstorms in a number of Swahili governorates, and rain in Alexandria Governorate, and it continues until the late hours of the night, according to the news portal. And she continued, "The rain will continue on the governorates until Sunday, and the rain is expected to subside from Monday, due to the presence of an air depression on the Mediterranean Sea."
