Arab Weather - The latest weather forecasts, based on what are called numerical weather models, indicate that the impact of the Siberian wave tonight will deepen on various regions, as temperatures will drop significantly with the continued appearance of large amounts of low clouds, which may be accompanied by some limited rainfall.

A very cold night is coming to the Republic, and strong winds will continue to blow on the Mediterranean coasts.

In detail, God willing, the impact of the Siberian wave on Egypt is expected to deepen during the hours of Monday/Tuesday night, as temperatures drop significantly to range between 7-11 degrees Celsius in various regions, and thus cold weather prevails in general, especially in exposed areas. Large amounts of clouds continue to appear at low altitudes, so that partly to mostly cloudy weather prevails, with the chance of scattered showers of rain in some areas, concentrated in the northern coastal areas.

Active northerly winds are blowing in all areas of the North Coast, accompanied by strong gusts exceeding 60 km/h, especially on the northwestern coasts, specifically Matrouh Governorate. The active winds cause disturbance in the sea waves, with the wave height reaching about 4 meters, which negatively affects maritime navigation operations and small boats.

Cool and cloudy weather on Tuesday in various regions

On Tuesday, Egypt will continue to be affected by the cold wave, with temperatures remaining 5-6 degrees Celsius below average. The weather will be pleasant to cold autumnal in all areas, with large amounts of clouds appearing at low altitudes and moderate northerly winds that will sometimes be active and stir up sand in many areas, especially on desert roads.

During the night hours of Tuesday/Wednesday, cold weather will prevail, with clouds continuing to appear at low altitudes, and active northerly winds at intervals, especially at sea and coastal areas.

Gradual rise in temperatures on Wednesday and the end of the week, and a break in the cold weather

The same computer simulation results at the Arab Weather Center indicate that the cold wave will begin to gradually recede from Egypt starting from Wednesday and during the weekend, as temperatures continue to rise, but slowly, but remain lower than their averages for this time of year, and pleasant autumn weather prevails during the day, but with continued coldness during the night and early morning hours.

Temperatures are expected to return to twenties in the capital, Cairo, the northern part of Lower Egypt, and the rest of the northern regions, God willing.
