With the Hajj season approaching...an important decision for Umrah visa holders
Weather of Arabia - The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced that the validity of the Umrah visa is three months from the date of its issuance, and expires at the latest on Dhul-Qi’dah 15 of each Hijri year.
In the context of coordination with the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs in preparation for the annual Hajj season, the Ministry explained in its response to a number of inquiries via the “X” platform that the date of issuance of the visa was approved as the date of its validity for a period of three months, and this means changing the previous approach, which was based on the validity period. The visa is based on the date of entry into the Kingdom.
The Umrah visa is an electronic service provided by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which allows beneficiaries from outside the Kingdom to submit applications for and review the Umrah visa. Saudi missions abroad allow the issuance of Umrah visas through their designated electronic path, where foreign citizens can enter the Ministry’s website and choose the appropriate service. And then fill out the electronic form.
