Thunderstorms expected in Mecca and the holy sites during the next hour
The latest weather forecasts issued by the Arab Weather forecasting team indicate that the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region and the holy sites will likely be affected by a state of atmospheric instability today, Wednesday. It is expected that cumulonimbus clouds will move towards Makkah Al-Mukarramah and that the opportunity will gradually become available for thunderstorms to fall, which may sometimes be interspersed with heavy showers, and it is not unlikely that they will be accompanied by hail showers.
Expected activity of down winds before the rains
It is also expected that the activity of thunderstorms will be accompanied by activity of descending winds, which may lead to the emergence of local dust waves that will lead to a decrease in horizontal visibility and perhaps its disappearance in some areas.
