It is located southwest of Al-Hanakia Governorate, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, and was previously called Al-Abraq, in reference to a black, stony sandy mountain.
The area is also famous for being the site of the Islam of the companion Ka’b bin Zuhair, who wrote his famous poem called Al-Burdah praising the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
The nearest starting station is Madinah Al Munawwarah, Al Qassim and Yanbu. It should be noted that gas stations and refueling stations are not available on the site. It should also be noted that there is a need for four-wheel drive vehicles on the site.
