The Petra Light Festival will take you to a stunning visual world presented on the picturesque exterior of The Treasury, one of Petra's most amazing sights. Combining dynamic light, music and expressive narration to bring the beauty of Al Khazneh to life, this multimedia show combines creativity, innovation and technology.
The Petra Light Festival comes under the title "A New Birth" of the Nabateans. It honors and celebrates the great civilization by inviting visitors to discover its many facets through a multi-sensory experience, that includes details of their culture, rituals, and influence on the world, as well as their strength and innovations in life.
Produced by AndreiVisuals and iJordan and held in partnership with the Petra Region Development and Tourism Authority, the aim of the festival is to show the uniqueness, vitality, creativity and history of one of the Seven Wonders of the World, one of the most famous tourist attractions in the world and its status as the creative hub of Jordan.
According to the organizers of the 11-day festival, guests will arrive after dark for a magical walk along the Siq, lit up by a myriad of different sights and sounds, before entering the open space in front of the majestic Al Khazneh, where they will witness a stunning 3D display on its façade.
