موقع ArabiaWeather.com- تسببت موجة الحر الشديدة التي تضرب الأجزاء الجنوبية من الباكستان بمقتل نحو 700 شخصا خلال الأيام الأربعة الماضية، فيما يتلقى 3000 شخص علاجهم في المستشفيات.

 

ويبذل العاملون في الصحة هناك، جهدهم للتعامل مع الحالات المرضية الناجمة عن موجة الحر، كما جرى إعلان حالة الطوارىء في المستشفيات.

 

وكانت غالبية حالات الوفاة من كراتشي، حيث تجاوزت درجات الحرارة 45 درجة مئوية، رافقها انقطاع متكرر في التيار الكهربائي أدى إلى تباطؤ التزويد بالماء.

 

يشار أن موجة حر مشابهة ضربت الهند أواخر شهر أيار الماضي وأدت إلى وفاة أكثر من ألفي شخص وكانت ثاني أقوى موجة حر في تاريخ البلاد.
