Arab Weather - From Thursday evening until Friday afternoon, the kingdom is expected to be affected by a second-degree air depression, accompanied by varying intensity of rain, which is sometimes heavy, which may lead to the formation of torrents in valleys and high water levels on the roads in the north and central of the Kingdom.

A strong wave of frost and freezing is expected to form in large areas of the Kingdom that include Jordanian cities and external roads, with evening hours and the first nights of Friday when the air depression ends, as surface temperatures witness a decrease that may reach zero percent and perhaps without that.

Therefore, the weather in the Arab world warns against driving on the roads throughout the Kingdom’s highlands, including the capital’s highlands, and the external roads, before the midnight, due to the fear of slipping by the freezing rain water on them, except for the extreme necessity and by taking the utmost care and caution .

Important warnings to follow when freezing occurs in winter:

• Driving with caution on freezing roads
• Safe heating in homes
• Take the necessary measures by livestock breeders, especially poultry farmers .
• Be aware of the risk of water freezing inside the water pipes, so they must be wrapped in thermal insulation or discharged from the water
•    Wrap the water meters with a cloth and then wrap them with a plastic piece to keep the meter
• Sprinkle salt on the streets, to face the freeze.
