موقع ArabiaWeather.com – تظهر صور الأقمار الاصطناعية نهار يوم الأحد الموافق 6 أيلول الى تواجد موجة غبارية قوية فوق الأراضي السورية متجهة نحو حمص وتتحرك نحو الجنوب والجنوب الشرقي حيث قد تشمل تدمر ودمشق والنبك والمناطق الحدودية الشرقية من لبنان، وهناك احتمالية لان تطال بعض المناطق القريبة من الحدود الأردنية العراقية، لذا يحذر من تدني مدى الرؤية الافقية في تلك المناطق.
وتأتي تلك الموجة بسبب تمركز منخفض جوي سطحي وغير ماطر وسط الأراضي السورية تزامنا مع نشاط لافت للرياح السطحية فوق البادية السورية مما أدت الى اثارة موجة قوية من الرمال تحركت من الرقة نحو حماة وحمص، وستكمل حركتها نحو الجنوب والجنوب الشرقي تبعا لحركة الرياح في المنخفض الجوي.
يذكر أن ظروف جوية مشابهة الى حد كبير حدثت فوق الأراضي العراقية وتسببت بتدني مدى الرؤية الافقية في المناطق الوسطى والجنوبية ووصل تأثيرها الى أجزاء من السعودية والكويت.
