It is expected, God willing, that the direct effects will include the Dhofar and Al Wusta governorates in the Sultanate by the middle of next week, in addition to the eastern parts of Yemen. This effect will be in the form of very fast winds accompanied by very heavy rains ranging from 100 to 600 mm, which may lead to severe floods. For valleys, the sea water level rises to more than 6 meters and penetrates to the land in low-lying areas.
