Weather forecasters at the Arab Weather Center said that current indicators show that the hot air mass is coming across the Arabian Peninsula, and weather maps specializing in the movement of air masses show that the hot mass will be moving across the southeastern part of the Kingdom towards the western regions, so it is expected that the eastern and southeastern regions of the Kingdom will be under the direct influence of the hot air mass.

Direct effects of the hot mass and temperatures exceed 40 degrees Celsius in the eastern part of the Kingdom

According to weather data issued on Sunday evening, several areas in the eastern part of the Kingdom are expected to be under the direct influence of the hot mass due to their location and proximity to the center of the hot mass, as temperatures are expected to rise significantly to exceed 40 degrees Celsius in the middle and end of this week in Ruwaished, Safawi, Azraq and the border areas with Iraq, in addition to several areas of the southern Badia and the southeast of the Kingdom in general, while reaching the end of the 30s. Experts at "Arab Weather" said that the path of the hot air mass and its depth towards the Kingdom imposes temperature differences between the east and west of the Kingdom, as the difference is expected to reach 10 degrees Celsius between the west and east of the Kingdom. As an example, temperatures are expected to record 32 degrees Celsius in the Dabouq area west of the capital Amman on Wednesday, while the expected maximum in the Ruwaished area on the same day is 42 degrees Celsius.

Weather forecasters at the Arab Weather Center said that temperature differences are not limited to the Kingdom, but are also clearly visible in the capital, Amman, where it is expected that there will be temperature differences between the east and west of the capital. For example, temperatures in the Tlaa Al Ali area, northwest of the capital, are expected to reach 31 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, while the expected maximum in the Marka area for the same day is 35 degrees Celsius.

• The difference in altitude above sea level between the eastern plains of the Kingdom and the mountainous highlands of the western Kingdom.
