Important - Arabian Sea | Oman Meteorology issues report No. 2 on tropical condition `Asna`
Arab Weather - The Omani Meteorology Department issued a short while ago Report No. 2 regarding the latest developments of the tropical condition "Asna" expected in the Arabian Sea, which is expected to affect parts of the Sultanate of Oman in the coming days, God willing. The following is the report issued by the Omani Meteorology Department:
The latest satellite images and data received by the Arab Weather Center indicate that tropical storm Asina is centered north of the Arabian Sea, and the wind speed around the center of the storm is estimated at about 40 knots, and it is 500 km away from the coast of the Sultanate (Ras Al Hadd).

God willing, the tropical system is expected to continue moving towards the west and southwest during the next 48 hours as it moves along the Omani coast, resulting in scattered rains in some northern governorates, which may be accompanied by thunder at times, with no indications until the latest updates that the tropical system will cross the Sultanate’s airspace.
