ArabiaWeather.com - حذر مدير اتحاد المزارعين الأردنيين محمود العوران من التأخر في عملية قطاف الزيتون بعد الأمطار التي سقطت خلال الأيام الماضية؛ نتيجة حالة عدم الاستقرار الجوي التي شملت مناطق المملكة.
وأكد لـ "موقع طقس العرب" على أهمية ان يبادر المزارعين فورا بعملية قطاف الزيتون لغاية انتاج الزيت، عقب الأمطار الحالية، التي أعطت إشارة البدء للمزارعين للقطاف، خاصة مع ارتفاع درجات الحرارة التي شهدتها بعض المناطق في مثل هذا الوقت من السنة والتي أدت إلى سرعة نضوج ثمار الزيتون، مشيرا أن العادة جرت على البدء في عصر الزيتون بتاريخ 15 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر من كل عام.
ولفت أن التأخر في قطاف الزيتون سيؤدي إلى زيادة نسبة الحموضة في الزيت، مما يؤثر سلبا على جودته، ويصبح غير مرغوب في الأسواق، لافتا أن قطاف الزيتون لغاية "التخليل" بدأ قبل عطلة العيد.
