The specialists at the center answer, according to the latest weather readings, that the Arabian Sea is not expected to witness the formation of any tropical conditions. During the next 10 days at least, while the chances will increase, God willing, for tropical systems to form in the Arabian Sea by next month (June 2024), according to what computer modeling for long-term forecasts indicates.

Specialists at the Arabia Weather Center confirmed that the Arabian Sea is a favorable environment for the development of tropical disturbances if they form during the coming period, due to the warming of the water body and the abundance of water vapor. It also appears that the first tropical system in the northern Indian Ocean will form this season, God willing, in the Bay of Bengal. This is due to the Rossby wave crossing in those areas.

It is worth noting that the hurricane and tropical season in the northern Indian Ocean region continues until the end of June in its first season.
