The Ministry of Labor calls for workers not to be employed `in direct sunlight` during peak hours
<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr">Weather of Arabia - The Ministry of Labor called on Saturday, employers, not to employ workers in any of the works in open work sites exposed to sunlight directly during the peak period, due to the prevailing weather conditions in the Kingdom and the high temperatures these days.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The ministry indicated, in a statement, that "the employer may ask the worker to compensate for those hours in the morning or evening periods, until the end of the heat wave in the Kingdom, in order to avoid exposing workers to the risk of heat stress."</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> And she stressed the need for employers to adhere to occupational safety and health standards and the instructions issued in this regard to protect workers in such circumstances, provide them with an appropriate and suitable work environment, and not expose them to any risks during work.</p>
