The infamous Balfour Declaration... the promise that changed the course of the history of the Middle East

Weather of Arabia - More than 104 years have passed since the fateful "Balfour Declaration", which was on November 2, 1917, when British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour sent a message to the leader of the British-Jewish Zionist movement, Lord Rothschild, in its first part stating that he supports and supports the establishment of a national home in Palestine .

The second part states: that the British government preserves the civil and religious rights enjoyed by the resident non-Jewish communities.

This letter was later known as the Balfour Declaration, and only the first part of the promise was implemented, violating international laws and human rights, as well as violating Britain's promises with the Arabs at that period.

The Balfour message embodied Britain's support for the Zionist project, as the British Mandate government at that time was carrying out acts that violate international laws and human rights, such as:

• Expropriation of property and lands from the Palestinians and giving them to the Zionist gangs
• Facilitating illegal immigration of Jews to Palestine
• Silence about the crimes of the Zionist gangs against the Palestinians
• 220 Palestinian villages were also exterminated

The Zionists were able to convince Britain of their ability to achieve Britain's goals and preserve its interests in the region after negotiations that lasted for three years, and Palestine was completely occupied by the British army in 1917 and Britain was mandated by the League of Nations.

In 1948 Britain left Palestine and Zionist armed organizations seized the Palestinian lands and established their homeland on it, and three quarters of Palestine fell under the control of the Zionist entity.

On June 4, 1967, the Zionist entity occupied the West Bank, including East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip along with the Sinai Peninsula and the Syrian Golan Heights.

This ominous promise and what resulted from it, is one of the most important causes of the catastrophe of the Arabs and Palestinians.
