NASA publishes distinctive pictures of Earth, showing strange faces and huge animals

Arabia Weather - Although huge mountains, vast seas, oceans and natural islands are a challenge to contain in a single glance, the vision changes completely when images of these areas are captured from elevated positions. Scenes appear as small models, and some drawings may take on a strange shape, which has been documented in numerous images from NASA.

Specialists at NASA's Earth Observatory published several images of different areas on the surface of the planet Earth. Although the natural space is large, these areas appear very small in the photos, as if they form strange faces and shapes that arouse astonishment. In one image, the figure appears as a skull with its eyes staring directly into the camera lens, while in another image it appears as an animal jumping with grace and strength, and in a third image it appears as a human face.

Volcanic caldera lake

The volcanic caldera lake appears in the image like a giant skull in the desert, with its wide eyes staring directly into the camera lens. This deep lake is 1,000 meters wide and was formed as a result of a massive volcanic eruption in the distant past. This mountainous region is located in the central desert, and the photo was taken by an astronaut. The unique shape of the lake appears as a result of previous volcanic eruptions and the accumulation of salt from hot springs.

Sao Miguel Island

São Miguel Island appeared in the image as the round face of a small animal, where two eyes, a nose and a mouth could be seen. São Miguel Island is the largest, most populous and most volcanically active of the nine islands of the Azores archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean region.

Stratosphere region

The image shows faces that appear to be chasing each other, thanks to the hobby of some NASA scientists. They search atmospheric data to find the rare moment when faces can be seen in this data, and then take pictures of them.
