موقع"طقس العرب"الإلكتروني-أكدت وكالة "نوفوستي" الروسية أنه "تم إجراء تجربة صاروخية في منطقة استراخان قرب بحر قزوين، وأن الجسم الغريب المضيء الذي ظهر في السماء ناجم عن التجربة الصاروخية، وكان بالإمكان مشاهدة الجسم المضيء في أرمينيا و اذربيجان و جيورجيا و ايران و تركيا وقبرص ولبنان وسوريا والأردن وفلسطين ودول أخرى في المنطقة".
وأعلن المتحدث بإسم وزارة الدفاع الروسية فلاديمير كوفال أن "القوات الصاروخية الإستراتيجية الروسية قامت بتجربة ناجحة لصاروخ "توبول" الباليستي العابر للقارات"، لافتاً إلى ان "أهداف التجربة كانت التأكد من دقة المواصفات التقنية الرئيسية للصواريخ من هذا الطراز في ظروف تمديد فترة إستخدامها، وتجربة مختلف أنواع وسائل القياس، وإختبار جديد للتجهيز القتالي للصواريخ الباليستية العابرة للقارات".
