What is a tornado?

A tornado is characterized by strong winds that revolve around a very narrow center, causing great destruction in a relatively small area.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Tornadoes occur when warm, moist air meets cold, dry air, creating turbulence in the atmosphere and strong updrafts.
