وقالت الهئية في حسابها في تويتر حول آخر تطورات اعصار كيار:

 

ارتفع مستوى تصنيف الإعصار المداري كيار شرق بحر العرب إلى إعصار مداري من الدرجة الثالثة بسرعة رياح تقدر بين (100-105) عقدة حول المركز، ولا يزال مستمراً في تحركه في الاتجاه الغربي / الشمالي الغربي نحو وسط بحر العرب بسرعة 10 كم/ساعة.
