وتسببت الأمطار الغزيرة بسيلان عدد من الأودية والشعاب، إلى جانب تجمع مياه الأمطار في بعض المواقع مما دعا لجنة الأمطار والسيول بأمانة الطائف للتواجد في الميدان.

 

ونشرت أمانة الطائف الفرق والآليات لشفط التجمعات المائية؛ لاحتواء آثار الأمطار بسرعة، فيما باشرت الفرق المرورية العديد من الحوادث المرورية التي وقعت جراء انزلاق المركبات واصطدامها ببعضها والأشجار وأعمدة الإنارة في الطرق والميادين.

 

وسقط جدار خلف محطة المورد ونتج عنها وفاة شخص وإصابة اثنين آخرين، بينما باشرت فرق إنقاذ الدفاع المدني بلاغات الاحتجازات التي تلقتها خلال فترة الأمطار المسائية الغزيرة.
