وبدأت القصة عندما لاحظ أحد المواطنين لمعان الذهب في مياه السيول وقام على الفور بإبلاغ الجهات الرسمية

 

وأدى انتشار الخبر بسرعة الى حضور المئات من المواطنين ورجال الأمن الى الموقع ، واكد شهود عيان أن المغارة هي مغارة عثمانية قديمة كشفتها الأمطار.
