محطة الرصد الجوي في مطار القاهرة الدولي تُشير إلى أن سرعة الرياح تقارب الـ50 كم بالساعة و ان مدى الرؤية اقل من 3000 متر بسبب الغبار. في حين ما زال مدى الرؤية الافقية في مطار برج العرب اقل من 2000 متر لنفس السبب.
