وأدت الأمطار الغزيرة على مدينة جدة إلى غرق معظم الطرق الرئيسية واحتجزت المئات من المركبات والمواطنين، رغم من التحذيرات المتكررة من قبل الجهات المعنية بضرورة البقاء بالمنازل.

 

وأكدت المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني، على ارتفاع منسوب المياه بالنفق المقابل لعزيز مول على شارع الأمير ماجد، وتجمع المياه بشارع الروضة مقابل سوق جدة الدول، كما طالبت بتفادي السير بطريق مكة القديم أمام بلدية أم السلم كيلو ١٠ و ١٤، نظرًا لارتفاع منسوب المياه فيه.
