طقس العرب- استعرت أكبر حرائق غابات تشهدها كاليفورنيا في تاريخها يوم الثلاثاء في ظل أجواء طقس حار وعاصف مما يمثل تحديا للآلاف من عمال الإطفاء الذين يجاهدون لاحتواء ثمانية حرائق كبيرة خرجت عن نطاق السيطرة في الولاية الأمريكية.

 

وقالت إدارة الغابات والحماية من الحرائق في كاليفورنيا إن حريق (مندوسينو كومبليكس) انتشر ليشمل نحو 283 ألف فدان يوم الاثنين بعدما اندمج حريقان ضخمان على الطرف الجنوبي لغابة مندوسينو الوطنية

 

وهذا الحريق الأكبر من بين ثمانية حرائق كبيرة خرجت عن نطاق السيطرة الأمر الذي دفع الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب لإعلان ”كارثة كبيرة“ في الولاية.

 

وتجاوزت حرائق هذا العام نطاق حريق (توماس فاير) العام الماضي والذي شمل نحو 281893 فدانا في مقاطعتي سانتا باربارا وفنتورا ودمر أكثر من ألف مبنى، بحسب "رويترز"
