Weather of Arabia - Arbutus trees (maple) are found naturally in Jordan, mixed with Aleppo pine and oak, and are considered among the most beautiful wild trees in Jordan.

It is classified as evergreen trees and rises from 3-9 meters.

And the arbutus (maple) needs shade, and is characterized by its smooth red-purple stem, green waxy leaves, and sweet-tasting fruits.

There is the largest and densest forest of maple trees on the Jordanian soil in the "Bira" valley in the Barqash forests of the Koura district in the Irbid governorate.
