موقع ArabiaWeather.com-عمر الدجاني- قامت محطّة الفضاء الدولية و من قبل أحد روّاد الفضاء بالتقاط صورة تُظهر وميض البرق فوق أجواء شمال شرق السعودية و ذلك بتاريخ 12-12-2013.

 

الصورة تُظهر بشكل واضح لمعان البرق بشدّة في المنطقة الواقعة ما بين دولة الكويت ومدينة خفر الباطن شمال شرق البلاد،وذلك على إثر تشكُل حالة من عدم الاستقرار الجوي.

 

يُذكر بأنه خلال كل ثانية فإن البرق يلمع نحو 50 مرّة حول الأرض، و هذا يعني أن البرق يلمع بمقدار 4.3 مليون مرّة يومياً على مستوى الكُرة الأرضية قاطبةً.
