حيثُ أظهرت صور الأقمار الاصطناعية المُلتقطة يومي 4و5 شباط 2014، تراكم الثلج على شكل خط يربط بين الحدود السورية العراقية مروراً بأجزاء واسعة من البادية السوريّة وصولاً إلى أجزاء من دمشق وريفها و حتى جبال لُبنان.

 

 

و يُمكن من خلال الصور مُلاحظة أن الثلوج ذات تراكّمات عالية في أجزاء مُختلفة من البادية السورية و مُعظم مناطق ريف دمشق الشمالي و الغربي.

 

 

يُذكر أن الكُتلة الهوائية الباردة التي أثرت على سوريا تُلقي بظلالها الآن على أجزاء واسعة من بلاد الشام و السعودية، على شكل أجواء مُستقرة و قارسة البرودة خصوصاً أثناء ساعات الليل و الصباح الباكر.
