طقس العرب - تُشير آخر الرصدات الجوية الخاصة باعصار كيار المتمركز إلى الشرق من بحر العرب إلى أن سرعة الرياح حول المركز تزايدت بشكل لافت حتى وصلت لما بين 85 - 95 عقدة حول المركز، وبذلك يكون اعصار كيار قد تطور رسمياً من الدرجة الأولى غلى الدرجة الثانية.
