موقع ArabiaWeather.com -  بالتزامن مع تأثر القسم الشمالي الغربي من قارة افريقيا بعاصفة أطلسية من العيار الثقيل ، هبت رياح عاتية يوم الاثنين 4-3-2013 على مناطق داخلية واسعة من المغرب و الجزائر مما أدى إلى إثارة الرمال في المناطق الجافة و الصحراوية بشكل أهوج انتقل ليؤثر على مناطق واسعة في شرق المملكة و المغربية و غرب الجزائر.

و قد عملت الرمال على تدني مدى الرؤية الافقية و انعدامها احياناً في مدن هامة في المنطقة مثل وجدة (المغربية) و تلمسان في أقصى غرب الجزائر، مما حول ضوء النهار الى ليل مُعتم أحمر اللون.
