العواصف الرملية  والرعدية تسببت في تدني مدى الرؤية الأفقية في مطار الكويت الدولي إلى ما دون 100 متر فقط، وذلك مع رياح نشطة تجاوزت سرعتها 25 عُقدة، وذلك مع تقرير الساعة السادسة مساءً.
