وتضررت 13 ولاية من أصل 18 في السودان بسبب الفيضانات، وفقا لتصريحات وزير الداخلية السوداني عصمت عبد الرحمن.

 

وبلغت مياه نهر النيل أعلى مستوى لها في أكثر من مئة عام وفاضت بسبب الأمطار الغزيرة في العديد من المناطق، بحسب تصريحات وزارة المياه والري.

 

ودمرت الفيضانات 3206 منازل وألحقت أضرارا بنحو 3048 منزلا في ولاية كسلا بشرق البلاد وهي واحدة من المناطق الأكثر تضررا.
