موقع ArabiaWeather.com- تسببت موجة الأمطار الغزيرة والفيضانات التي اجتاحت جنوب شرق البرازيل، بمقتل 19 شخصاً في مدينة "ساوباولو"، قضى معظمهم جراء انزلاقت طينية تسببت بتدمير منازل على رؤوس من فيها من سكان.

 

وتُعد مدينة "ساوباولو" من أكثر المُدن المُكتظة بالسكان، حيثُ يقطنها قرابة الـ 20 مليون نسمة، وهو الأمر الذي زاد من عدد الضحايا وحجم الأضرار في المدينة، خاصة وأن هذه الموجة من الأمطار الغزيرة والفيضانات جاءت بعد قرابة العامين من القحط والجفاف.

 

كما أغرقت الأمطار مدناً مجاورة مثل  "روشا و إيتابيفي وكايراس" حيثُ غمرت المياه  بعض المناطق حتى وصلت في ارتفاعها أسطح السيارات والمنازل، وأغلق مطار "ساوباولو" أمام حركة الملاحة الجوية جراء الأمطار الغزيرة وشدة العواصف.
