Arab Weather - The Ministry of Water and Irrigation / Jordan Valley Authority announced that the rains that fell during the recent air depression, which were concentrated in the eastern and southern regions of the Kingdom, contributed significantly to enhancing water storage in dams and desert excavations, as 8 million cubic meters of rain and valley flow entered the dams during the past 24 hours.

Thus, the total storage in the 15 main dams rose to 95 million cubic meters, which represents 33% of the total storage capacity of 288,128 million cubic meters.

The ministry explained that the quantities of flowing water were concentrated in the Mujib Dam, which received 4.5 million cubic meters, bringing the storage capacity to 18 million cubic meters, with a storage rate of 74%.

Large parts of the Kingdom were affected on Thursday and Friday by a state of atmospheric instability, accompanied by moderate and sometimes heavy rainfall, especially in the southern and eastern parts of the Kingdom, which promises to give a strong boost to the rainy season, which suffers from weakness this year.
