According to the Telegraph newspaper, the company submitted a request to withdraw the vaccine on March 5, and the request was implemented on Tuesday.
It is worth noting that AstraZeneca, listed in London, began shifting towards developing new vaccines and drugs to treat obesity, through several deals it concluded last year, as a result of slowing growth and declining sales of Covid-19 treatments.
