Arabia Weather - The first training diploma specializing in meteorology and its modern applications began today, Saturday. This diploma was launched through the Arabia Weather Academy in partnership with the Middle East University in the presence of the Director of the Consulting and Training Center, Dr. Anis Mansour, representing the Middle East University, and the Forecast Advisor. Weather at the Arabian Weather Center, Dr. Jamal Al-Mousa, representing the Arabian Weather Academy. The diploma will last 9 months, with an average of 300 training hours, and will be held on the Middle East University campus. This training diploma aims to empower and develop individuals in the field, to achieve distinguished contributions in meteorological sciences and climate security, and to contribute to protecting our planet and building a better future for all.
It will address the basic principles of meteorology, including the study of weather and its elements, weather forecasts, meteorological monitoring of various weather factors, and how to build different weather maps and use them in making weather forecasts, in addition to learning about different numerical models, types of weather maps, and meteorological applications in: aviation, marine. Land transportation, protection of lives and property, and all other fields. It will also address the preparation of weather news, bulletins, and weather warnings for various media outlets and social networking sites.
