Al-Abadi added that 194 pumps (submersible) and about 175 mechanisms (suction motors) are ready and distributed in the capital's regions to deal with weather conditions.

The Secretariat calls on the fraternal citizens to move away from the valleys of the valleys and low areas, and not to connect the gutters (the roof) to the fountains (the sewers) in order to avoid flooding in the roads, and not to throw the waste at random to cause it to close the rainwater drainage lines.
It calls for inspecting submersible pumps on floors and shops that fall below street level, and for merchants to take precautions when storing goods in warehouses and leveling floors.
It also calls on contractors and project owners to secure building materials in order to avoid erosion and direct cause of the closure of rainwater drainage lines, in addition to the need to stay away from low areas, torrents and valleys.
