Arab Weather - A powerful storm swept through northern California, USA, causing heavy snowfall and torrential rains that led to road closures and the evacuation of a number of residents in the affected areas.
The storm killed two people and left hundreds of thousands without power in the Pacific Northwest.
According to US media, meteorologists warned of the continued risk of flash floods and rockslides in the area. The stormy weather also caused dozens of flights to be canceled at San Francisco Airport.

In Washington state, the storm left more than 185,000 people without power, most of them in the Seattle area. Crews are still clearing fallen trees and debris from roads, as they try to restore power to affected areas.
